Job Summary:
We are seeking a GPS Installation Technician with experience in automotive electricity to install GPS/telematics devices and inspect vehicles.
Key Highlights:
1. Experience installing GPS equipment and alarms in heavy vehicles.
2. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and fuel measurement systems.
3. Ability to identify faults and assemble/disassemble vehicle dashboards.
**GPS INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN**
**Requirements:**
Age: No restriction
Gender: No restriction
· GPS Installation Technician / Similar Automotive Alarm Technician (preferred)
· Education: Technical degree / Technical High School / Automotive (not mandatory)
· Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar position. Minimum 2 years installing GPS equipment and alarms in heavy vehicles (preferred).
· Driver's license: Class A not mandatory.
· Willingness to travel: Yes, occasionally.
· Willingness to relocate: No
**Competencies / Skills**
· Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, experience installing alarms and fuel measurement systems, Cambus data linking, electrical tools, 60/40 soldering, multimeter usage, logic probe.
· Works well under pressure, organized, detail-oriented, and careful.
· Fault identification
· Vehicle immobilization and automotive relay handling
· Ability to assemble and disassemble automotive dashboards.
· Daily activity reporting
· Proactive
**·Responsibilities:**
· Install GPS/telematics devices in tractor-trailers and vehicles
· Inspect vehicles.

Salary: $12,000.00 - $12,500.00 per month
