This is a field-based position: you will be on-site—at events, on tours—documenting everything in real time. **Your daily responsibilities:** Accompany political figures and officials as an audiovisual shadow during their daily activities: public events, meetings, site visits, tours, press conferences, working sessions, and media appearances. Your role will be to capture every relevant moment with your own editorial judgment, produce reels and short-form content for social media with same-day delivery, conduct professional photographic coverage for use across social media, press, and internal communications, record and edit vertical and horizontal videos optimized for each platform, and document behind-the-scenes moments and spontaneous interactions that build a narrative of proximity. **Who we’re looking for:** Someone with proven field-based audiovisual production experience—not studio-based. You must be comfortable operating in political environments and understand the dynamics: protocols, timing, discretion, content sensitivity, and public image management. We are not seeking only a videographer—we seek someone with editorial judgment who knows which moments to capture, how to frame them, and how to turn them into effective content without needing step-by-step direction. **Technical requirements:** Proficiency in video and photo cameras under variable conditions (indoor, outdoor, low-light, large-scale events, confined spaces). Fast editing in Premiere, CapCut, or similar software, with capacity to deliver edited content the same day. Basic audio equipment handling for interviews and statements. Knowledge of current social media formats and trends—especially reels, shorts, and stories. Owning your own equipment is a plus but not mandatory. **Non-negotiable requirements:** Familiarity with the political context of Querétaro and Mexico. You don’t need to be a political scientist, but you must understand the key actors, how the local political ecosystem functions, and why certain content is published—or withheld. Full schedule availability and readiness to travel within the state and occasionally outside it. Absolute discretion regarding all documented content and activities. Ability to work under pressure with immediate deadlines. **Work modality:** Full-time, on-site. Based in Querétaro with constant mobility according to the client’s agenda. **What we offer:** Competitive salary based on experience. Statutory benefits. Direct exposure to high-level political communication projects. Integration into a multidisciplinary team of strategists, creatives, and analysts. Interested candidates should send their CV and reel (mandatory) to contacto@somosestrategia.mx with the subject line: Audiovisual Shadow Position. Applications without a reel will not be considered. Salary: $18,000.00 - $20,000.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
