Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to teach at the secondary level, focusing on academic support and holistic development of adolescents within a Montessori environment. Academic and emotional support for students ***Start date for the upcoming school year 2026\-2027*** We are looking for a **Mathematics Teacher** to join our educational community (**Montessori School**) at the secondary level, **working with multi-grade groups in an environment focused on academic and formative guidance for adolescents.** **Position Profile** **Education:** * Engineering degree with **pedagogical knowledge**, or * Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years teaching Mathematics at the secondary level (Grades 1, 2, and 3). * Familiarity with curriculum content and learning outcomes established by SEP (Secretaría de Educación Pública) for each grade level. **Position Objective** To foster meaningful mathematics learning through real-life application, providing academic follow-up and comprehensive support throughout adolescents’ developmental process. **Main Responsibilities** * Academic and emotional support for students. * Planning and evaluation of academic activities. * Implementation of pedagogical strategies. * Tutorial follow-up with students during artistic workshops. * Supervision duties during student entry and exit. * Timely submission of quarterly evaluations. * Recording and tracking in logs and institutional platforms. * Development of curriculum adaptations when required. * Participation in ongoing Montessori training sessions. * Parent meetings and consultations. * Continuous feedback and ongoing student support. **Technical Skills** * Proficiency in educational platforms (Google Classroom). * Competent use of Excel. **Soft Skills** * Creativity. * Adaptability. * Problem-solving ability. * Leadership and positive authority. * Teamwork. * Consistency and responsibility. * Proactivity. * Ability to relate effectively with adolescents from an empathetic, mature perspective. * Passion for guiding adolescents during this developmental stage. **Additional Requirements** * Advanced **English proficiency preferred.** **Work Schedule** * Monday: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. * Tuesday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. **We Offer** * Statutory benefits. * Salary during probationary period: **$13,250 MXN per month.** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $12,000\.00 \- $13,250\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
