




Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of food products, including refrigerated and frozen items, while adhering to assigned routes and operational policies. Maintenance of the cold chain and inspection of vehicles. ***JOB OBJECTIVE*** Ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of food products to customers and business partners, guaranteeing proper handling of refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods, as well as compliance with routes, delivery timelines, and CIEMSA Foodservice’s operational policies. ***PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** * Deliver goods to customers according to assigned routes. * Verify that loaded orders match the delivery documentation. * Load and unload goods together with the distribution assistant. * Ensure proper handling of refrigerated and frozen products, maintaining the cold chain. * Conduct daily basic physical and mechanical inspections of the assigned vehicle. * Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good condition. * Ensure complete order delivery and collection of delivery evidence (signatures, stamps, or documents). * Report incidents en route, returns, shortages, or damaged goods. * Comply with traffic regulations and road safety policies. * Support operational activities related to distribution and logistics as required. * Safeguard documentation related to deliveries and routes. * Maintain constant communication with supervision and logistics operations. ***EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*** A) Education * Completed secondary school (minimum). * Bachelor’s degree preferred. B) Experience * Minimum 1 year operating distribution or delivery vehicles. * Experience in foodservice distribution, refrigerated products, or last-mile logistics is preferred. * Experience with local and out-of-town routes. ***REQUIREMENTS*** * Valid driver’s license suitable for operating cargo and distribution vehicles. * Flexible working hours. * Availability for operational work and physical loading tasks. * Good health condition. * Basic knowledge of local roads and highways. * Complete and valid personal documentation. **TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE** * Operation of vehicles weighing 3\.5 to 8 tons. * Operation of refrigerated vehicles. * Traffic regulations and road safety standards. * Basic loading and unloading techniques. * Handling and care of food products. * Basic knowledge of the cold chain. * Use of GPS and location-based applications. * Basic physical\-mechanical vehicle inspection. * Control and validation of delivery documentation.
