Zegelmack/Autechnik An integration company dedicated to the design and manufacturing of industrial machinery, assembly lines, leak testers, and industrial process automation Looking for: Mechanical Designer Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or related field. * 2\-4 years of experience in integration companies or in manufacturing and process automation within the automotive industry. * Intermediate to advanced conversational English * Proficiency in CAD software tools (Solidworks, Autocad, etc.) * Understanding and application of dimensional and geometric tolerances, as well as their importance in part manufacturing. * Knowledge of leak testing and sealing systems (desirable) * Knowledge and selection of hydraulic and pneumatic components * Knowledge of materials and their applications (steels, polymers, alloys, aluminum, bronze, etc.) * Familiarity with integration of special equipment such as indexing tables, robots, vision sensors, and vision systems * Valid driver's license Responsibilities: * Conceptualize station designs from scratch or based on client standards according to customer specifications/requirements * Advise production personnel throughout various stages of the process to resolve questions regarding fabrication and assembly of components according to design specifications. * Resolve design or manufacturing issues to ensure proper operation of stations * Select materials and components according to customer specifications * Request purchase of commercial mechanical components through the procurement process * Release parts for machining in the fabrication process * Design nests or tooling based on the customer’s product, ensuring functionality and material characteristics * Participate in design review and approval meetings with the client Job type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $17,000\.00 per month Work location: On-site
