Robotics and Remedial Instruction Teacher (Summer Course)

Description

We are Algorithmics, an international programming school for children aged 5 to 18. The ideal candidate will have software development experience, preferably with teaching experience. You will serve as a key contributor to the educational development and student retention for children aged 5 to 18. **Requirements:** * The summer course runs from Monday, July 20 to Friday, August 28. * Must reside near the Corregidora area. * Technical specialization related to Robotics applications (electronics, programming) (mandatory). * Knowledge and experience with various programming languages (**MBLOCK**, **SCRATCH**, **PYTHON**). * Must possess knowledge and skills in disciplines such as **Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Literacy**. * Pedagogical and psychological education (may be a second specialization or complementary training) (preferred). * Experience as a camp counselor or teacher (preferred). * Experience training children (preferred). * Experience organizing children's clubs, especially for age-appropriate groups (preferred). * Summer course schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM. * You may also be considered for regular afternoon classes: Tuesdays to Fridays, 4 PM to 8 PM; Saturdays, 9 AM to 2 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM. * Must have personal computing equipment (mandatory). **Responsibilities:** * Managing groups of up to 8 students. * Demonstrating empathy and assertive communication with children and adolescents aged 5 to 18. * Delivering in-person classes to children and adolescents aged 5 to 18. * Monitoring student development and academic progress. * Technical preparation and troubleshooting during class. * Detailed explanation of the platform to students and parents. * All students must complete and submit a final project upon course completion. * Preparation of instructional materials. * Arriving 5 minutes before class begins to prepare for the day and welcome students prior to class start. **Benefits:** * Monthly salary of $10,000, with an annual increase of $500\. * Monthly student retention bonus of $1,000. * Commission of $100 per enrolled student (monthly target: 25 students). * Annual bonus of $1,000 for 95% student retention\. \*Applicable starting at 25 students. * Summer course (July 20 to August 28 \- 6 weeks): $15,000\. * Opportunity to work for an internationally recognized school. * Uniforms provided. * Total potential monthly income upon meeting targets: $14,500. **Schedule:** * Tuesdays to Fridays, 3 PM to 8 PM; Saturdays, 9 AM to 2 PM and 3 PM to 7 PM. * Sundays and Mondays off; official holidays observed. * Summer course (Monday, July 20 to Friday, August 28): Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM.
