




**Plant Manager (Interim)** **Location:** Querétaro, Mexico **Duration:** 12–18 months interim assignment **Reports to:** COO **Position Overview:** We are seeking an experienced interim leader to manage and stabilize operations at a plastic injection molding facility serving the automotive industry. The role focuses on regaining operational and financial control, improving performance, and rebuilding customer trust. **Key Responsibilities:** * Full operational and financial management (P\&L, budgeting, reporting). * Assess current operations and identify performance and process gaps. * Stabilize production to ensure output, quality, and delivery reliability. * Implement strong KPIs, reporting structures, and cost\-control measures. * Define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability within teams. * Introduce a continuous improvement mindset and prepare the plant for long\-term success. * Ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence. * Report progress directly to the COO. **Candidate Profile:** * 10\+ years in senior operations or plant management roles. * Proven success in turnaround and restructuring projects. * Experience in injection molding and/or automotive manufacturing. * Hands\-on, decisive, and result\-driven leadership style. * Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills. * Fluent in English; Spanish preferred. * Based in Mexico or open to relocation for the assignment Type of position: Temporary Contract duration: 18 months Salary: $170,000\.00 \- $185,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Life insurance Experience: * Operations management or plant management positions: 10 years (Required) * Plastic injection and/or automotive industries: 5 years (Required) * Proven experience in restructuring or operational recovery: 5 years (Required) Language: * English (Required) Workplace: On-site job
