ALTEN Mexico seeks a **Program Buyer** to **strategically manage procurement of raw materials, chemical inputs, and critical services** for chemical industry projects. This role is critical to **optimize costs, ensure supply continuity, and align procurement strategies with the organization’s growth and quality objectives**. We seek a professional with expertise in strategic procurement, management of complex projects, and an analytical mindset. The ideal candidate must be proficient in tools such as **Excel and SAP (multiple modules)**, and possess **advanced English proficiency (C1 or equivalent)** for international negotiations and coordination with global teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead **procurement of raw materials and chemical inputs**, ensuring quality, competitive costs, and on-time delivery. * Conduct **market analysis and supplier evaluation**, negotiating contracts and managing strategic supplier relationships. * Collaborate with **R\+D, production, and logistics teams** to align procurement with technical and operational requirements. * Manage **engineering change notices (ECNs)** and specification updates, minimizing supply chain risks. * Optimize **SAP** processes for real-time reporting and error reduction. * Analyze data to identify **cost-saving opportunities** and propose innovative *sourcing* strategies. **Requirements** * Minimum **4–5 years** of experience in strategic procurement (preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industries). * Advanced proficiency in **Excel** (pivot tables, data analysis) and **SAP** (MM, Procurement, or Logistics modules). * **Advanced English** (C1 or equivalent) for technical communication and negotiations. * Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex projects. **Benefits** **We offer** * Base salary * Major Medical Expense Insurance (including dental and vision plans) * 15-day Christmas bonus * 25% vacation premium * 12 vacation days (starting from the first year) * Social Security
