Dynamic work environment in freight transportation YARD ASSISTANT / LOGISTICS ASSISTANT Location: Walmart CEDIS – El Salto Highway / Chapala Highway (El Salto Intersection) Grupo Castores, a leading company in freight transportation, logistics, parcel delivery, and courier services in Mexico and Latin America, is seeking a Yard Assistant / Logistics Assistant to join its operational team. Job Objective: To control and track units within the yard, ensuring proper operation, documentation, and movement flow of units. Main Responsibilities: * Monitoring unit entries and exits (loaded and empty) * Data download and trailer coupling/uncoupling for tractor-trailers * Review and control of trip documentation * Tracking drivers and on-time departures * Yard inspections to verify unit location and status * Reporting and tracking of truck and trailer movements * Tracking and reporting of unit maintenance * Preparation of reports, logs, and data entry * Basic computer skills (Excel and Office) * Support in operational and administrative tasks Requirements: * Minimum education: Completed secondary school or high school * Minimum experience: 0–6 months in similar roles * Availability to work rotating shifts * Basic computer skills * Organized, responsible individual with strong communication skills Schedules: Weekly rotating shifts: * 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. * 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. * 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Work schedule: 6 working days followed by 2 days off.
