Foxconn Guadalajara is seeking a Junior Failure Analyst Engineer to join its manufacturing engineering team. We are looking for a professional with expertise in diagnosing and analyzing defects in electronic boards, as well as the ability to interpret logs and perform basic reviews. JOB REQUIREMENTS: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related fields (completed). Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year interpreting failures, providing technical support, and conducting electronic diagnostics in the manufacturing sector. Essential Technical Knowledge: Electronic Diagnostics: Proficiency in analog and digital electronics for circuit, component, and material analysis. Analysis Techniques: Experience applying Failure Analysis methodologies. Instrumentation: Expert handling of measurement and diagnostic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, thermal cameras). Testing Processes: Familiarity with test processes (ICT, FBT, eMMC, etc.) and diagnostic systems. Language: Basic to intermediate English (essential for technical documentation and corporate support). · KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Objective: Reduce defect rates and ensure product reliability through accurate root cause identification of failures. Interpretation of schematics and logs to determine the root cause of failures. Root Cause Analysis: Perform failure diagnosis and analysis on electronic boards and servers, identifying and documenting process defects. Manufacturing Support: Provide specialized technical support for Testing, SMT, Rework, and Debug processes. Basic Corrective Actions: Analyze defect reports and develop corrective and preventive actions to eliminate failure recurrence.
