Job Summary: HVAC Engineer responsible for the design, engineering, installation, diagnosis, supervision, and maintenance of HVAC systems in a pharmaceutical plant, including air balancing and thermal load calculations. Key Highlights: 1. Technical and administrative HVAC engineering role for a pharmaceutical plant. 2. Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems. 3. Proficiency in air balancing and thermal load calculations. **HVAC Engineer** **Responsibilities**: * Position is 60% technical and 40% administrative. * Responsible for performing design, engineering, installations, diagnostics, supervision, troubleshooting, air balancing, equipment selection, and preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems in pharmaceutical industrial plants, including air handling units, packaged units, mini-splits, and exhaust systems. * Air injection, precision units, chillers. * Design, modeling, and thermal load calculations to determine and select appropriate HVAC equipment required for industrial areas, as well as to verify that existing equipment meets required heating, ventilation, or cooling functions. * Knowledge of air balancing, and management and control of positive and negative pressure in areas. * Ductwork design and calculation (rectangular and circular ducts) and piping design and calculation; routing of pipes and ducts. * Identify HVAC system components, conduct inspections, diagnose issues, and possess knowledge of how to repair them to ensure technical staff perform appropriate interventions or repairs. * Troubleshoot industrial equipment, schedule future maintenance tasks, conduct periodic inspections, and manage spare parts inventory. **Work Location:** Plant **Knowledge Requirements**: * Experience managing unionized personnel or contractors. * Training and/or certifications in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) system design and maintenance, refrigeration, industrial maintenance, electricity, and controls. **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:** * Proficiency in using computers or tablets for maintenance recordkeeping and reporting. * Office software suite, intermediate Excel, email, AutoCAD. **WE OFFER:** * **$**33,000\- $35,000 monthly gross * Statutory benefits and above-statutory benefits Employment Type: Indefinite-term position Salary: $33,000\.00 \- $35,000\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
