Performs activities under direct supervision. **Key Responsibilities:** Answers telephones, screens calls and takes messages so callers/visitors are dealt with promptly, courteously and accurately. Transcribes, type, format and proof reads a variety of material (e.g., correspondence, invoices, contracts, meeting minutes, reports, speeches, and presentations) using word processing, presentation, graphics and spreadsheet software. Coordinates internal and external meetings. This may include scheduling meeting times, making travel arrangements for attendees and ensuring that various meeting amenities are available. Manages the appointments and schedules of staff in the unit. Uses office equipment such as photocopiers, faxes and printers. Performs other administrative tasks according to established guidelines and procedures so these activities are completed accurately and on time. Activities may include distributing incoming mail, preparing outgoing mail, filing, maintaining office supplies or other inventory. **Qualifications** NOMBRE DEL PUESTO: **Parts Technician** **(NEWMONT PEÑASQUITO PROJECT)** DEPARTAMENTO O ÁREA: **Administration** REPORTA A (PUESTO): **PARTS LEADER** PERSONAL A SU CARGO (PUESTOS): 0 **DESCRIPCIÓN GENÉRICA:** Reports to the Parts Leader, but also provides support to the Parts Management of the Peñasquito projects as required as part of its business support function. **DESCRIPCIÓN ESPECÍFICA:** **INVENTORY:** * Responsible for conducting inventory management for Peñasquito, including parts receipts and issuances, placing parts orders, coordinating import and export of parts, and daily entry into the inventory system (Netsuite). Also responsible for handling all related processes for billing Newmont Peñasquito for parts. * Responsible for coordinating all activities related to adding new parts in the Newmont Peñasquito customer system. **PARTS TRANSPORTATION:** * Responsible for managing freight related to the transportation of parts, originating from border ports in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, destined for the Newmont Peñasquito projects located in Mazapil, Zacatecas, as well as return freight of parts from the aforementioned projects back to the designated border ports. **SERVICES:** * Responsible for tracking requests and deliveries of parts as required. * Responsible for maintaining fixed assets, both company-owned and rented, in good condition and reporting any issues. * Responsible for attending meetings with the customer. **SAFETY:** * Responsible for tracking the distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) parts, inspecting service trucks for proper operation, and managing documentation related to ecology, environment, and safety. * Comply with requirements from the Safety Leader: JSO/JSA forms. **ACTIVITIES:** * **Routine:** * Consignment meeting (daily, comply with safety stipulations for each consignment contract; currently supported by the Safety Department). * Parts delivery. * Parts ordering and follow-up. * Quotations (daily). * Reservations (daily). * Netsuite (daily). * Manage purchase orders (daily). * On-site parts sales report and collection (event-based). * Adding new parts (event-based). * Price updates (event-based). * **Occasional:** * Direct sales / Orders (event-based). * Import coordination only (event-based, direct supervisor / Finance / Parts as directly involved). * Tracking missing items (weekly). * **Controls:** * Weekly inventory count and location verification (weekly). * Control of maximum and minimum stock levels (weekly), as well as other standard warehouse controls. * Monthly CMS sales report (monthly): * Direct sales. * By suppliers. * By service/MO (services and backlogs). **Responsibilities** **Competencies:** Values differences \- Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.
