Monitor recreational facility activities and respond appropriately according to local operating procedures in the event of an emergency. Identify situations where guests may not safely participate in an activity and report to a supervisor/manager. Demonstrate knowledge of local and cultural heritage. Prepare for each activity, ensuring that your partner or assistant is also prepared with necessary materials, and guide the group at all times. Follow company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to a manager, complete safety training and certifications. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs; assist people with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Adhere to quality expectations and standards, identify, recommend, develop, and implement new methods to enhance organizational quality. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines; move across sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces; stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 75 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: High school diploma or equivalent certification from a General Educational Development (GED) program. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or equivalent qualification. Relevant Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience. Supervisory Experience: Supervisory experience is not required.
