Customs and International Trade Analyst
Responsibilities:
✔ Document Management: Audit and correct import documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL, Certificates of Origin) to ensure compliance with current customs regulations.
✔ Restriction Control: Knowledge of restricted goods (VUCE), including DIGESA, DIGEMID, SENASA, and SUCAMEC.
✔ Customs Declaration: Review, validate, and confirm the DAM (Customs Declaration of Goods), ensuring accuracy of transmitted data.
✔ SUNAT Operational Activities: Manage the SUNAT portal for shipment tracking and preparation of technical responses to notifications and requests from customs authorities.
✔ Tariff Classification: Accurately determine the tariff nomenclature of goods for correct tax calculation and application of trade agreement benefits. (ideal)
✔ Client Service: Maintain smooth and proactive communication with clients, providing status updates on their operations.
Requirements:
✔ Technical or university graduate in International Trade, International Business, or related fields.
✔ Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a customs brokerage agency.
✔ Knowledge of import regimes.
✔ Knowledge of Incoterms.
✔ Basic/Intermediate English.
✔ Excel proficiency.
✔ Analytical and proactive.
Working Conditions:
Mon–Fri: 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. \| Sat: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: S/. 2,000\.00 per month.
Benefits: Formal employment (REMYPE) after probation period.
