Summary: The VEV EE Test and Sign-off Engineer is responsible for managing and conducting electrical system, subsystem, and component sign-off testing across various platforms. Highlights: 1. Manage and conduct electrical system verification testing and sign-off 2. Define robust and efficient EE Sign-off DVP for milestones 3. Lead root cause analyses and resolution for DV failures VEV EE Test and Sign off Engineer is responsible for managing the electrical system, subsystem and component sign off testing. The engineer will work, manage and/or conduct the testing in TPVs/Mules, Breadboards, HIL, test benches and vehicles. * BSEE/BSME or related is required. * Understanding of vehicle electrical architectures and powertrain systems. * Understanding of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, LIN). * Excellent oral and written communication skills (Spanish and English). * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills including ability to multi\-task. * Enjoy both "hands on" and analytical environment, working on test activities in the laboratory, garage, and test tracks. * Manage and conduct system, subsystem and component verification testing and signoff of Electrical Systems, Software and Features at applicable GPDS milestones (FDJ, PEC, FEC, etc.). * Definition of robust, efficient EE Sign\-off DVP at UN and UP phases, jointly with Electrical, Software and Features engineering teams. * Definition of properties (TPV/Mules, Breadboards, Vehicles) required to support test plans efficiently and within program budget. * Support electrical work, SW flash and module configuration during TPV/ Mules build. * Lead, coordinate, and execute EE testing and sign off * Lead root cause analyses, resolution path and re\-DVs in case of DV failures. * Create, revise and approve test reports/evidence (concur on test acceptance criteria), and publication in corporate systems (FEDE) on time and with integrity. * Work with the key stakeholders (D\&Rs, SMEs, Laboratories, Suppliers, etc.) during the entire signoff process (DVP, Test Methods, assessments discussions, issue resolution) to achieve a successful milestone delivery. * Work (to implement improvements) with Core engineers and suppliers to testing procedures and manufacturing processes to ensure quality in test execution and evaluation. * Work with DVM/TM and requirements authors and core engineers to improve them (create them) in terms of representativeness , robustness, efficiency and customer satisfaction. * Propose new test technology, test solutions and simulation methods and work on the implementation to make efficient the current testing . * Work under lean principles, innovation with purpose to implement process improvements and generate global best practices. * Create and standardize processes, implement metrics and keep the work in an improvement loop.
