Sales Floor Associate

Position Summary: Support in-store operational activities on the sales floor, including sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service to meet performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in meeting operational and commercial performance indicators. 2. Arrange and display merchandise on the sales floor. 3. Provide customer service to close sales and clarify product-related questions. Support in-store operational activities on the sales floor by executing operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as established by AutoZone, ensuring proper compliance to achieve store-level operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, following applicable arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure correct merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product information (type, function, price), to deliver excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transactions and handle customer phone calls for clarification on specific products or orders. * Correctly execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
