Job Summary: Assists with store operations—including sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service—to meet performance indicators. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate in meeting operational and commercial performance indicators. 2. Arrange and display merchandise according to established guidelines. 3. Provide excellent customer service and support during transactions. Provide floor-level operational support in the store by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as defined by AutoZone, ensuring proper adherence to achieve store-level operational and commercial performance indicators. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, excess inventory, and trucks in compliance with applicable arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper fronting and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in opening and closing tasks, as well as cleaning activities on the sales floor, to ensure accurate merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Assist customers by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—ensuring excellent service reflected in point-of-sale transaction closures—and handle incoming customer phone calls to resolve questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately execute cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in strict accordance with the cash register payment policy to ensure effective payment processing and sales transaction closure. * High school diploma or equivalent completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
