Fosters a safe and productive work environment **EDUCATION: INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, CHEMICAL ENGINEERING, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, OR RELATED FIELD.** **Job Description** The LP Gas Plant Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Plant Manager in managing and operating the liquefied petroleum gas (LP) plant. Their primary function is to ensure daily operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all applicable industry regulations and standards. Additionally, they supervise staff, manage resources, and coordinate maintenance and infrastructure improvements. **Responsibilities** * **Daily Operations:** Supervise and coordinate daily plant operations. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures. Monitor and optimize LP gas storage and distribution processes. * **Personnel Management:** Supervise and lead the workforce. Conduct performance evaluations and develop training plans. Foster a safe and productive work environment. * **Maintenance and Improvement:** Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Implement continuous improvement projects for processes and facilities. Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. * **Administrative Management:** Prepare operational reports and summaries for management. Manage inventory and stock control of materials and equipment. Monitor and control the budget allocated to their area. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure the plant operates in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Stay updated on laws and regulations applicable to the LP gas industry. REQUIREMENTS: * MINIMUM 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN THE LP GAS INDUSTRY OR RELATED SECTORS. * EXPERIENCE IN SUPERVISORY OR MANAGERIAL POSITIONS. * KNOWLEDGE OF LP GAS SAFETY STANDARDS AND REGULATIONS. * ABILITY TO HANDLE MULTIPLE TASKS AND PRIORITIES. * FAMILIARITY WITH QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT METHODOLOGIES. * CLIENT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT SKILLS. * AVAILABILITY TO WORK ROTATING SHIFTS. * AVAILABILITY TO RESPOND TO EMERGENCIES OUTSIDE REGULAR WORK HOURS. * CAPABILITY TO WORK IN INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS AND OUTDOORS.
