In our ‘always on’ world, we believe it’s essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do. **Job Opening: Security Guard** **CommScope Delicias** **Rotating Shift** In our "always on" world, we believe it’s essential to have a genuine connection with the work you perform. **CommScope Delicias is hiring Security Guards for Rotating Shift (First, Second, and Third Shift)** **How You’ll Help Us Connect the World** Under direct supervision of the immediate supervisor, the Security Guard enforces the Internal Work Regulations and simultaneously promotes and maintains order in work areas while protecting the physical and moral integrity of employees; ensures accurate logging of incoming and outgoing materials, equipment, tools, personnel, visitors, and vendors; executes security operations as required to protect plant assets and perimeter; conducts random inspections of employee shuttle trucks, vehicles, bags, and backpacks; participates in safeguarding raw materials and finished goods through C-TPAT programs; and performs all necessary administrative tasks to fulfill job responsibilities. **Job Description and Responsibilities:** Prepares daily reports highlighting key incidents occurring during the shift. Documents access control procedures using established forms. Conducts security inspections per C-TPAT procedures. Maintains alert surveillance from the assigned security post. Reports unsafe acts and conditions. Performs perimeter and interior plant patrols (rounds). Conducts vehicle inspections. Assists in enforcing the Internal Work Regulations. Executes access control processes for employees, visitors, and contractors. Coordinates logging of incoming and outgoing materials, equipment, and tools. Participates in emergency response teams. Participates in security operations. **Essential Requirements:** Education: Completed Secondary Education; High School Diploma preferred. Full availability to work various shifts as required by the company (rotating). Ability to commute to the workplace using personal transportation. Valid driver’s license. One year of residency in the city. Communication and active listening skills; verbal and written communication proficiency. Physical capability to stand and run during emergencies; work environment includes both indoor and outdoor locations. Teamwork ability.
