Once you experience the**SSOE**difference, youll understand the***why***behind our metrics: * **28% \- of our employees have been with SSOE for 10 years or more.** * **15% \- percentage of employees with tenure exceeding 15 years.** * **99% \- our CEOs approval rating on Glassdoor.** * **98% \- portion of our clients who say theywouldrecommend us to a colleague.** . . . **Responsibilities** **A Typical Day Might Include:** . . * Works on markups provided by higher level designers/engineers (Using Revit) * Applies design fundamentals to total systems or sub\-systems. * Performs a variety of routine design assignments, with increasing responsibility, under the direction of a Senior designers or Senior engineers. * Works from both own designs and designs of others, compiles data, performs design computations. * Works under close supervision with work effort frequently checked during progress and reviewed upon completion. * Design Low and medium voltage building facilities. * Solves design problems, but is expected to need assistance. * Job may require use of AI or similar digital technology to perform the job function.. . . **Technical Knowledge** * Low voltage and medium voltage systems. * Power distribution in industrial and/or commercial facilities. * Lighting, receptacles, power outlets, panelboards, and load centers. * Cable trays, conduits, and cable routing. * Software: + **AutoCAD** (required). + **Revit** or other BIM platform (preferred). + MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Familiarity (preferred) with standards and codes such as: + NEC / NFPA, IEC, and applicable local electrical codes. . **Qualifications** **What You Will Bring:** * Engineering bachelor´s degree.
