Due to growth, we are seeking a **Cross-Border Driver** to ensure the efficient and safe transportation of goods between Mexico and the United States (Tijuana–Southern California region), guaranteeing strict compliance with customs regulations. Requirements: Knowledge of cross-border requirements Valid Binational/Federal License: Hold a U.S. Federal Class B license, B1/B2 visa, or SENTRI card. Proficiency in import/export documentation (customs entries, invoices, etc.) and customs procedures in both Mexico and the United States. Extensive knowledge of local routes, the border zone, and typically Southern California (San Diego, Los Angeles). Technology Use: Proficiency in GPS, navigation systems, and telematics tools to optimize routes. Ability to conduct pre-trip inspections ("checklist") and identify and resolve minor mechanical issues on the vehicle. Responsibilities: * Safely and timely transport passengers, materials, or goods between designated points in Mexico and the United States. * Operate cargo units (trailers, vans) for export and import operations (cargo transfers). * Present and safeguard required documentation for legal entry and exit of goods (manifests, customs entries) or personnel transit. * Ensure all required permits are available (licenses, unified badge, visa, etc.). * Conduct daily pre-trip inspections to ensure proper mechanical operation and vehicle safety. * Maintain detailed logs of mileage, fuel consumption, expenses, and trip records. * Supervise and/or assist in proper loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring secure fastening to prevent damage during transport. * Perform internal or local movements of goods within warehouses or between facilities. * Cross-border movement of goods and vehicles (Tijuana–San Diego). • Delivery and pickup of cargo at the San Diego warehouse. * Occasional trips to Los Angeles and surrounding areas for specific pickups. * Review of basic customs documentation (customs entries, manifests) prior to each crossing. * Support in loading/unloading maneuvers and cargo verification at the warehouse when required. * Basic preventive maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle.
