




Job Summary: Under direct supervision, this role performs manufacturing operations on a production line, receiving certified training in Fiber Optics or Electromechanics. Key Highlights: 1. Certified training in Fiber Optic or Electromechanical operations 2. Participation in additional process-related activities such as safety brigades 3. Focus on safety, health, and environment In our ‘always on’ world, we believe it’s essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do. **GENERAL** Under direct supervision of team leaders, performs one operation or a series of operations within the manufacturing process on a production line, receiving certified training in assigned areas—either Fiber Optics or Electromechanics. On-the-Job Training (OJT) in operational skills is scheduled when required experience is lacking; upon certification, a workstation is assigned. Also performs any administrative tasks necessary to fulfill the role. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Verifies materials for the model to be produced. Keeps work area clean and organized. Completes production reports. Uses appropriate tools for the operation. Performs operations according to established Work Instructions. Complies with established safety rules. Complies with internal labor regulations. Inspects quality checkpoints within their operation. Reports defects to the team immediately upon detection. Executes operations based on authorized procedures, methods, and work instructions; suggests improvements to manufacturing processes. May participate in additional process-related activities such as safety brigades, joint safety committees, cafeteria review committees, etc., as required by plant needs. This position/function is responsible for understanding and adhering to the Safety, Health, and Environment Management System requirements, its Policy, applicable standards, and procedures. **EDUCATION** Completed elementary school and/or incomplete secondary school. **REQUIRED SKILLS** Good manufacturing practices.
