Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining laboratory facilities in optimal hygienic conditions, ensuring a safe, healthy, and contaminant-free environment through cleaning, disinfection, and regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Maintain high standards of cleanliness in a laboratory environment. 2. Perform general cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of the laboratory. 3. Comply with laboratory health and safety regulations. Proper Laboratory Cleaning Cleaning staff are responsible for maintaining facilities in optimal hygienic conditions to ensure a safe, healthy, and contaminant-free environment. **Key Responsibilities:** **General Cleaning** * Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors in all laboratory areas, including work zones, hallways, and restrooms. * Clean and disinfect tabletops, desks, workbenches, shelves, and other furniture. * Clean windows, doors, and other access points. **Disinfection and Sterilization:** * Use appropriate products for surface disinfection. * Ensure cleaning materials such as mops and cloths are maintained in suitable condition to prevent contamination. **Regulatory Compliance:** * Adhere to laboratory-established cleaning procedures and standards, as well as health and safety regulations. * Ensure the work area is free of all types of contaminants. **Requirements:** * Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and handling of cleaning products. * Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures for maintaining hygiene in a laboratory environment. * Awareness of the importance of maintaining high cleaning standards. * Responsible and proactive attitude toward cleaning tasks. **Skills and Competencies:** * Attention to detail and rigor. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. * Ability to identify and resolve issues related to laboratory cleaning and organization. Good communication skills to coordinate with other team members.
