We are recruiting for the position of Tooling Supervisor: Job Objective: Ensure continuity of the production process by guaranteeing the availability of machinery and peripheral equipment through correct execution of tooling changes, coordinating the preventive maintenance program for molds, and resolving failures in the PVC, CPVC, and INJECTION areas. Responsibilities: Review the production schedule to develop the tooling change schedule and assign tasks to technicians. Provide technical support to your shift team in activities such as: troubleshooting / negotiation with production / repairs / machine release / staff training. Monitor and supervise tooling inventory and its condition. Coordinate mold repair and maintenance work. Ensure compliance with activities established in the QMS. Supervise execution of preventive maintenance assigned to Tooling Technicians; prepare corresponding preventive maintenance activity reports and ensure 100% compliance with the preventive maintenance schedule. Coordinate tooling changes and ensure machines are delivered on time and in full accordance with the production schedule. Supervise assigned project activities, ensuring correct execution, timely completion, and adherence to budget. Evaluate the performance of subordinates and request training to ensure proper fulfillment of their duties and correct operation of the area. Maintain updated inventories of tooling, molds, and heating elements; generate drawings and keep them current to ensure continuity of production processes; request fabrication of necessary tools. Ensure all activities comply with safety requirements and established standards; adhere to safety programs, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), AST (Safe Work Analysis), TUBOS, 5-minute safety talks, and overhead crane checklists.
