Join our team! We are looking for a General Accountant Job Objective: Ensure timely and accurate recording of company operations and production costs for decision-making purposes. Ensure compliance with applicable tax obligations. Responsibilities: * Validate the timely and accurate recording of journal entries generated through departmental interfaces * Reconcile information across all departments to close the monthly accounting cycle (inventories, production, shipments) * Perform bank reconciliations * Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements * Conduct inventories of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to accurately determine production costs * Review system cost closing and make corresponding adjustments for cost variances * Determine and calculate federal taxes (Income Tax Law, VAT) in accordance with tax obligations * Develop annual tax planning * Carry out procedures before relevant authorities to comply with Tax Laws and other regulations related to federal and state taxes * File VAT refund applications * Submit informative returns and annual tax returns * Participate in budgeting and financial forecasting Skills: * Preparation and analysis of financial statements and production cost reports * Knowledge and correct application of Financial Reporting Standards * Knowledge and correct application of tax laws * Interaction and negotiation with external authorities, auditing bodies, banking or financial institutions, etc. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or related field * Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in a related position * Updated knowledge of Tax Reform, Tax / Tax Planning Diplomas, Cost Accounting, IFRS * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite * Analytical skills and attention to detail Location: Puebla, Pue.
