




Position Summary: Supports store operations—including sales, merchandise organization, and customer service—to ensure achievement of operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assists in merchandise arrangement and presentation 2. Provides exceptional customer service and sales support 3. Is part of a team that values dedication and growth Provides floor-level operational support in-store by executing applicable operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service as defined by AutoZone, collaborating effectively to meet assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overstock areas, and in delivery trucks, adhering to established arrangement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to complete inventory counts; * Perform proper fronting and labeling to classify merchandise, and participate in opening/closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities to ensure accurate merchandise arrangement and store presentation. * Provide customer service by addressing inquiries regarding product location, specific product type information, functionality, and pricing—ensuring excellent service reflected in counter sales closures—and handle customer phone calls to clarify questions about specific products or orders. * Accurately perform cash register transactions involving cash or credit/debit cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s cash handling policy to ensure effective transaction execution and sales closure. * High school diploma completed * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience preferred.
