May also perform cyclic counts in other areas within the operation, assist in root cause analysis, and suggest process improvements. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform cyclic counting tasks and record actual results in assigned areas: * Physically count cycle materials. * Record actual count results without manipulation. * Communicate count results to required personnel. * Use scanners as applicable to conduct **ERP** transactions. * Other related tasks, which may include: * Assist in root cause analysis. * Propose process improvements. * Conduct cyclic counts across multiple zones throughout the Operation. * Coordinate activities with the Warehouse Supervisor and other functional Inventory Control areas within the Operation. * Participate in coordination and/or execution of physical inventory. **MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*** Typically reports to Management. Inventory Control Director or Department Supervisor * This position is **NOT** directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/firing and/or salary decisions, performance management). **PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS** **KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS*** Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, users, and the general public. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to operate a personal computer, including use of a Windows-based operating system and associated software. * Advanced **PC** knowledge, including training and familiarity with Jabil software packages. * Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aids. * Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. * Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables. * Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memoranda. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. * Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS*** High school diploma or equivalent required. * Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes. * Computer literacy. * Strong knowledge of **SAP**. * Strong attention to detail. * Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience. **WORKING CONDITIONS*** Standard working hours. Some overtime may be required. * Travel requirements: Domestic and/or international, up to 25%. * Climate-controlled office environment during normal working hours.
