




Job Summary: Laboratory or workshop assistant who supports the preparation of materials, area maintenance, and academic practice program monitoring, ensuring proper development and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaboration in service and material control. 2. Inventory control and incident reporting. 3. Participation in material and equipment quotations. GENERAL FUNCTION: Assists in activities related to laboratory or workshop practices, following CEUX criteria and policies and those of the institutions regulating such activities, monitoring the proper development of each academic practice program, as well as each entity involved in these practices. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS: 1. Prepare the material to be used during the practice. 2. Keep the work area clean. 3. Properly safeguard supplies for each practice. 4. Collaborate in controlling services for collection of biological, infectious, and, where applicable, fumigation products in each laboratory or workshop. 5. Calculate the material and reagents used per academic year. 6. Control the inventory of equipment and materials for each laboratory or workshop. 7. Report incidents or malfunctions of laboratories and workshops to the Laboratory Head. 8. Participate with the Laboratory and Workshop Head in material and equipment quotations. ***Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field. ***Experience:*** *Minimum of 6 months in a similar position.* Experience in document filing, writing, personal and telephone customer service.
