Job Summary The Supplier Quality Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that Jabil’s suppliers comply with established quality standards through supervision, auditing, and continuous improvement of their processes and products. Job Responsibilities * Develop and implement supplier audit plans to assess compliance with quality requirements and regulations. * Lead and participate in audits of new and existing suppliers, identifying areas for improvement and documenting findings. * Manage and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) arising from audits and supplier quality incidents. * Collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to resolve quality issues related to supplied components and materials. * Analyze supplier performance data and implement metrics to evaluate and monitor quality. * Train and guide suppliers on Jabil’s quality standards and best practices. * Participate in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality criteria. * Maintain up-to-date and complete supplier quality documentation. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of Jabil’s quality management systems and supplier management processes. Job Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance, or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment. * Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). * Demonstrable experience conducting supplier audits and managing CAPAs. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English (advanced level). * Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. * Willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) as required. * Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) are a plus.
