




**Emergency Medicine** **Job Objective:** Develop the competencies required to assess, perform initial diagnosis, and provide timely management of critically ill patients or those with life-threatening conditions, applying updated emergency medical care protocols, with an ethical, humanistic, and evidence-based approach. **Responsibilities:** * Identify signs and symptoms of major medical and surgical emergencies. * Apply prehospital and in-hospital emergency care protocols for managing acutely or critically ill patients. * Prioritize medical care using triage scales and clinical severity criteria. * Perform basic life support, resuscitation, and patient stabilization maneuvers and procedures. * Provide individual follow-up for each student. **Requirements:** * Medical degree and valid medical license are mandatory. * A master’s degree — along with its corresponding title and license — is desirable. * Minimum three years of teaching experience. * Familiarity with platforms such as Teams, Blackboard, or similar systems is desirable. **Core Competencies:** * Strong service orientation * Effective communication * Organizational skills * Ethics **Why Work at UVM?** We are Mexico’s largest private university, with 60 years of academic excellence, social commitment, and professional vision.
