Description
**Community Workers** are key actors in the territorial implementation of the project, ensuring direct linkage between the technical strategy and beneficiary communities.
JOB OBJECTIVE
To implement on-site the project’s educational, community-based, and awareness-raising activities through facilitation of workshops, accompaniment of beneficiaries, and coordination with local stakeholders, thereby contributing to behavioral change and strengthening the community environment in favor of the health and well-being of girls, boys, and youth.
* Conduct educational and recreational activities in schools and communities targeting populations aged 3 to 17.
* Promote healthy eating habits and active lifestyles.
* Support community awareness processes on health and nutrition topics.
* Monitor beneficiary participation and progress.
* Contribute to recording, monitoring, and documentation of project activities.
* Strengthen the relationship among the community, schools, and the project.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement workshops and educational activities related to nutrition, health, and well-being targeted at girls, boys, youth, and families benefiting from the project.
* Support the organization and logistics of community activities, campaigns, events, and sessions held in schools and communities.
* Monitor attendance and participation of beneficiaries in project activities.
* Accurately record information, attendance lists, evidence, and reports requested by the technical team.
* Collaborate with teachers, families, local authorities, and community stakeholders to facilitate activity implementation.
* Promote participatory, safe, and respectful spaces during field activities.
* Report incidents, observations, or needs identified during activity implementation.
* Support proper safeguarding and use of materials and resources assigned to the project.
* Participate in coordination meetings, trainings, and other institutional activities convened by AVSI Mexico.
