Delivery Driver

DESCRIPTION * Deliver customer orders. * Maintain frequent contact with the branch manager in order to coordinate timely delivery of requested orders. * Maintain direct communication with customers, making calls and receiving orders. * Verify that the receipts issued by the cashier match the delivered products. * Guarantee good service to all customers. * Seek new customers along their assigned route. * Have thorough knowledge of the current product catalog, new products, sales prices, and weights to perform their duties efficiently and serve customers effectively. * Keep the vehicle clean at the beginning and end of each workday. * Take care of the vehicle assigned to them. * Report any malfunctions and/or anomalies to the vehicle supervisor (Logistics) through their logbook. * Deliver fuel receipts to the vehicle supervisor. * Stay up to date on vehicle administrative procedures (inspections and license expiration). * Deliver invoices for delivered products to the credit and collections department (only drivers delivering to dining facilities). * All products must be delivered to the customer with a delivery note and/or invoice. * Complete daily entries in their logbook and checklist. * Wear a clean uniform every day. * Comply with the standards established in the quality and food safety manual. * Drive with a preventive safety mindset. * Immediately deposit cash received from each customer into the vehicle's secure safe. * Do not grant credit to customers. * For cash-on-delivery payments, only deliver the quantity of products that have been paid for. * The driver is responsible for returning 100% of the packaging received (Totes and Canastilla) back to the branch. * Physically inspect the vehicle before starting the route (fuel, brakes, tires, refrigeration system). * Verify proper temperature throughout the transportation of frozen food.
