Job Objective: To efficiently and safely manage the supply warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper receipt and dispatch of goods, secure storage of materials, and appropriate documentation, while guaranteeing compliance with internal policies and legal regulations—including hazardous waste management. Competencies or Knowledge: Operational Leadership: Managing high-performance teams, resolving conflicts, and setting goals. Emphasis on operational discipline and safety culture. Strategic Thinking and Logistics Planning: Ability to anticipate demand, plan resources, and optimize processes. Systems Proficiency and Inventory Control: Knowledge of storage methods (FIFO, FEFO, LIFO). Data-driven decision-making and continuous auditing. Continuous Improvement and Process Management: Expertise in Lean Logistics, Kaizen, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping. Financial Management and Business Orientation: Understanding of the warehouse’s financial impact: operational costs, shrinkage, productivity. Business perspective extending beyond the warehouse. Academic Qualifications: Higher Technical Diploma or University Degree in Logistics, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience: **Minimum 3 years in similar roles within manufacturing or industrial companies—non-negotiable.** * Proven experience in hazardous waste management (familiarity with local environmental regulations is desirable). * Experience managing both physical and system-based inventories. Technical Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (ERP, WMS, or similar). Strong command of computer tools: Intermediate-to-advanced Excel, email, reporting. Knowledge of industrial safety and environmental regulations.
