*International Headhunters*, supporting an international events company in Mexico, are seeking a **Pricing–Logistics Executive**, to perform the following **Responsibilities:** * · **Rate Quotation**: Develop and request competitive quotations for transportation services across maritime, land, and air modes, tailored to time-critical cargo, shows, and live events. * · **Cost Analysis**: Evaluate operational and market costs to ensure competitive rates while maintaining appropriate profitability margins. * · **Supplier Negotiation**: Identify, assess, negotiate with, and onboard new suppliers across all transportation modes. Evaluate rates and terms with carriers, customs brokers, cranes, warehousing providers, distribution services, forklifts, golf carts, tools, and other logistics transport equipment. * · **Supplier Management**: Establish and maintain strong relationships with service providers, including land carriers specializing in various types of transport units. Contribute to building long-term partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring responsiveness for large-scale/time-critical projects. * · **Market Monitoring**: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for rate and route adjustments, sustaining the company’s competitiveness. * · **Risk Management**: Identify and assess risks associated with proposed rates and routes, considering economic, geopolitical, and logistical factors. * · **Internal Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with other departments—including operations, customs, and finance—to ensure quotations align with the company’s operational capabilities and policies. * · **Implement Metrics and KPIs**: Based on response times, negotiation effectiveness, and supplier diversification. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 5 years in freight forwarding, **international** logistics and/or customs, with a specific focus on pricing and rate management, procurement, and supplier development. * Experience implementing pricing processes, carrier/vendor strategy, service provider classification, responding to tenders, and multi-product solutions; extensive experience negotiating rates with local suppliers (land transport, customs), shipping lines, warehousing providers, land transport for US import/export, and ports. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade/Foreign Commerce, International Business, Logistics, or related fields. * **Advanced conversational English** **Required Knowledge:** * In-depth knowledge of maritime, land, and air shipment modes and their respective service providers. * Familiarity with land transport routes and service providers, with the ability to select appropriate transport units based on client needs. * Expertise in identifying cost-saving and supply chain improvement opportunities. * Verifiable supplier portfolio—i.e., a robust Excel database capable of meeting and sustaining operational demands and requirements: stevedores, labor providers, storage facilities, trucking companies, value-added 3PL/4PL services, etc. **Competencies:** Highly organized, proactive, adaptable; effective communicator with strong negotiation skills; strategic mindset and operational capability. **We Offer:** * Gross monthly salary: commensurate with qualifications and experience, starting from $50,000.00 MXN * Benefits: Statutory benefits during probation period, enhanced benefits upon completion: GMM/grocery vouchers/30-day year-end bonus. * **Location:** Pensador Mexicano neighborhood (office near AICM) * **Work Mode:** On-site Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $50,000.00 MXN per month Benefits: * Grocery vouchers Workplace: On-site employment
