Knowledge of general accounting and tax regulations **Job Description** The Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the company's accounting management, ensuring accurate transaction recording, financial reporting, and compliance with tax and accounting obligations. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Record and classify accounting transactions in the relevant systems. * Assist in preparing financial statements and accounting reports. * Reconcile bank accounts and review financial transactions. * Assist in preparing and filing provisional tax returns. * Maintain up-to-date physical and digital accounting records. **Requirements** * Technical degree or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, or related field. * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting areas for individuals and legal entities (preferred). * Knowledge of general accounting, bank reconciliations, financial transactions, invoicing, tax filings, and accounting accounts. * Proficiency in accounting software (CONTPAQi). * Proficiency in Excel and other Office tools. * Knowledge of tax regulations (ISR, IVA, DIOT, etc.). **Skills and Competencies** * Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. * Responsibility and confidentiality in information management. * Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
