Job Opening: Construction Superintendent (Experience in Airport Construction Projects) **Location:** Huatulco, Oaxaca and surrounding areas **Work Mode:** On-site **Gross Monthly Salary:** $50,000.00 **Working Hours:** * Day Shift: Mon–Fri 08:00–19:00 / Sat 08:00–14:00 * Night Shift (as required by project conditions): Mon–Fri 19:00–05:00 / Sat 18:00–00:00 **Benefits:** Statutory benefits Job Objective To plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of airport construction projects (terminals and ancillary works), ensuring compliance with technical standards, aviation regulations, schedules, and budgets—while prioritizing operational safety, quality, and construction efficiency. Responsibilities * Develop and monitor the master construction schedule. * Coordinate timelines while accounting for airport operational constraints. * Supervise ancillary infrastructure: drainage systems, aeronautical lighting, signage. * Implement operational safety management systems (SMS). * Coordinate with aviation authorities and airport operators. * Manage multidisciplinary teams (pavements, structures, electrical installations, telecommunications). * Supervise environmental protection and mitigation measures. * Represent the company technically before concessionaires and regulatory authorities. * Administer specialized subcontractors and suppliers. * Prepare technical progress, quality, and safety reports. Requirements * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. * **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years in civil construction projects. * At least 2 years in airport construction projects. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Surface and deep drainage systems at airports. * Aeronautical signage and lighting. * Operational safety procedures. Skills and Competencies * **Technical Skills:** Coordination in high-security environments, interpretation of multidisciplinary drawings, proficiency with software (CAD, REVIT, PROJECT). * **Soft Skills:** Leadership, adaptability to special conditions, effective communication with stakeholders, attention to detail, strict adherence to regulations.
