Today, ND has the following vacancy as part of our growth strategy: Phlebotomist Job Mission: Provide patient care at the sample collection site, as well as enter and collect payments for requested tests Education: Technical or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Clinical Laboratory Technology (TLC), Chemistry and Pharmacy (QFB), or related field Experience: Minimum 6 months as a Phlebotomist Knowledge and Skills: * Knowledge and application of biological sample collection methods (phlebotomy, cultures, swabs, catheterization, etc.) * Knowledge of container types and biological samples required per clinical laboratory test * Current regulations governing the pre\-analytical phase of clinical laboratories * Administrative tasks * Proficiency in billing systems Main Responsibilities: * Perform punctures (venous, capillary, and arterial) to obtain samples without causing significant discomfort to the patient * Collect special specimens (cultures, neonatal screening, Pap smears, etc.) * Receive specimens (urine, stool, biopsies, etc.) * Accurately label specimens and dispatch or deliver them for analysis * Prepare materials (gauze, cotton swabs, culture swabs, etc.) * Register patients in the system * Enter patient records according to requested tests and process payments Branch: SANTA MARGARITA: Av.
