




Google.org brings the best of Google to help solve some of humanity’s biggest challenges—combining funding, products, and technical expertise to support underserved communities and provide opportunity for everyone. The Skills\-Based Volunteering (SBV) Team enables opportunities for Googlers to use their expertise to accelerate the social impact of nonprofits and governments globally through the power of technology, and our flagship program is the Google.org Fellowship. The SBV team is made up of program managers located in AMER and EMEA who lead Fellowship projects from inception to completion. This involves scoping, recruiting, managing Fellowship events, managing the overall relationship with the nonprofit or government entity, and ushering projects to completion. SBV works closely across other Google.org teams on grants and project proposals as well. Overall Responsibilities: Provide support by assisting with both general program management (examples) and specific event\-related tasks by assisting the team with project workshops, expense tracking, ensuring incoming proposals are accounted for, community outreach, and other General Program Management. * Manage a range of project tasks, including preparing documentation, tracking progress on proposals and projects, managing project expenses, and compiling reports. * Create, maintain, and update program documentation, project trackers, project comms, and other project management resources * Learn, understand and follow process flows and relevant policies Events Management: * Coordinate event logistics, scheduling, preparing documentation, managing event communications (such as invites, RSVPs, etc), tracking, and reporting * Serve as a key point of contact, partnering with internal teams and external clients to manage \& coordinate event details. * Answer questions from internal and external stakeholders, using program FAQ; escalate issues as necessary * Organize documentation and update FAQs as needed * Ensure event adherence to policy and compliance processes Required Skills: * Organizational and Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously in a fast\-paced environment. * Responsiveness \& Operational Efficiency: High degree of responsiveness to incoming and shifting requests/willingness to pivot if the situation requires. Works with high level of efficiency and proposes improvements where inefficiencies are noted. * Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong sense of confidentiality and diplomacy. * Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Google Workspace products, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets; utilizes AI features and tools as appropriate to improve work quality and increase productivity * Logistics Coordination: Experience in coordinating logistics, from scheduling to events vendor management. * Collaborative Team Focus: Ability to work collaboratively across team members in both timezones Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in relevant field * Experience in program/event management * Experience managing multiple projects/events
