We are seeking a talented **Warehouse Assistant B** to join our specialized **Logistics** team at **CUMMINS** in **SLP**. **Job Description:** Under supervision, follows established guidelines and procedures to receive, handle, store, pick, and ship goods at plant or warehouse locations. Operates industrial equipment for unloading and picking, validates system data, and ensures compliance with quality, safety, and delivery time standards. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** * Stop work and report any hazards or incidents. * Comply with safety rules and policies, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE). * Participate in HSE training and promote safe practices. * Verify damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices. * Identify and control non-conforming materials. * Communicate effectively with colleagues and support departments. * Participate in process, safety, and material flow improvements. * Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area. **Receiving Area:** * Receive instructions and review unloading orders. * Safely unload materials (80% using industrial vehicles). * Perform physical and document verification (part numbers, labels, quantities). * Record data in ERP/WMS systems and confirm receipt. * Ensure traceability and organization in the area. **Shipping Area:** * Receive and validate orders (Move Orders). * Pick materials (50% via VIM, 50% from floor). * Prepare, label, and secure materials for shipment. * Record data in system and communicate with logistics. * Meet deadlines and maintain order in the area. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To succeed in this role, you will need the following:** * Warehouse knowledge (Kan\-ban, min\-max). Industrial vehicle operation (counterbalance, reach, order picker). Preferred. * Knowledge of warehouse processes. Preferred. * Computer skills (basic Office applications). * Experience using trackers and/or scanners. Preferred. * Knowledge of FIFO.
