Our purpose is to build a better future for all our stakeholders: our employees, customers, shareholders, investors, suppliers, and the communities where we live and work—making a difference in every region where we operate. **Candidate Requirements** Semester(s): Starting from 7th semester onward Field(s) of Study: Software Engineering, Computer Systems, Mechatronics Availability (maximum 25 hours per week): Internship Period at CEMEX: Start Date and End Date: February 1, 2026 Detailed Project Description: Develop a dashboard to track replacement of kiln shells and components such as rollers, tires, girth gear, and pinion. **Project Objective** Develop a dashboard for the 29 kilns to monitor their maintenance, including drawings, work orders (OTs), and reports. **Challenges for the Student** Interact with maintenance managers at cement plants to gather information on kiln repairs—including dates and scope of each repair. **Main Responsibilities and Activities** * Collect data on kiln repairs and component replacements. * Build the dashboard using kiln schematics and integrate the collected information. **Deliverables Demonstrating the Intern’s Learning** * Database of mechanical repairs for kilns and their components. * Kiln dashboard populated with collected information and featuring input fields for new data. **Required Skills, Competencies and/or Knowledge** * Proficiency with Office 365 tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and similar applications. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite. * Experience using Microsoft PowerApps. * Leadership profile, sense of responsibility, and commitment. **CEMEX Diversity and Inclusion** At CEMEX, we recognize the diversity of the world in which we live and operate.
