




Important Customs Agency Seeks to Expand Its Team: Customs Classifier Requirements: Age: 25 to 50 years old Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Trade, or related field Flexible working hours Minimum 5 years of experience at a customs agency performing the following duties: * Review pro forma customs entry documents. * Review shipping documentation. * Verify COVES to ensure correctness. * Review digitalized documents to confirm completeness and consistency with the customs clearance process. * Cross-check information contained in the pro forma against the prior notification. * Review tariff classification and its applicable tariff and non-tariff regulations and restrictions. * Record identified errors on the pro forma customs entry document. * Complete the “Detected Errors” register for the second classification review. * Verify compliance with regulatory requirements imposed by the customs authority. * Advise executives on handling various types of customs operations. * Review and analyze updates to legislation to ensure compliance with customs regulations. * Provide customer service and advisory support regarding international trade matters (imports/exports). * Review traffic executives’ case files to correct erroneous or incorrectly entered data. * Support traffic executives with queries concerning tariff classifications or tariff restrictions applicable to their customs entries. * Minimize risk associated with any customs operation.
