The Branch Personal Banking Officer I is an entry-level position responsible for assisting in the execution of sales, product or service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The overall objective of this role is to foster customer relationships to generate loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer customers. **Responsibilities:** * Attract and retain new customers, and sell financial products. * Promote and sell financial products such as accounts, credit cards, insurance, personal loans, investments, among other products; achieve monthly sales targets. * Complete sales transactions at branches or visit customers and potential customers to sell products. * Complete customer retention activities. * Select the best course of action from a wide range of defined options, and understand the consequences of each. * Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and protecting Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues transparently. **Qualifications:** * 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. * Experience selling financial products. * Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. **Education:** * High school diploma or equivalent.
