The **Manufacturing Engineer** will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with key metrics: **Productivity, Quality, Safety, and Cost**. This role focuses on applying **Lean Manufacturing** principles to optimize operations and support new product launches, engineering changes, and transfers. Requirements: * Professional with 2 years of experience in a similar position. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Knowledge of **PFMEA**. * Design and balancing of production lines. * Implementation of **5S**. * Knowledge of **Ergonomics**, **OEE**, **SMED**, and **VSM**. * Problem-solving techniques. **Key Activities** * Conduct studies to define equipment, production rates, productivity targets, and staffing structure. * Release machines and equipment involved in production lines for each installation or transfer. * Define parameters for optimal operation of equipment and machines in new installations or transfers. * Other activities related to continuous improvement and production support. **Essential Functions and Authority of the Position** * Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes using **Lean Manufacturing** techniques. * Identify, select, and release tools and equipment required for processes across all launch phases (new products, engineering changes, and transfers). * Develop and maintain flow diagrams and **PFMEA** per project. * Update capacity studies for production cells/lines. * Publish work methods for each operation in the manufacturing area. * Design, install, and maintain the **layout**, coordinated with Maintenance. * Implement improvements to reduce operating costs. * Authority to define work methods, **rates**, and production staffing structure.
