**We train you as a Mechanic Assistant** (Flexible schedule available to rotate 8-hour shifts: morning, afternoon, and night). Basic experience required (training and growth plan provided). FUNCTIONS: * Assist in performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on all mobile equipment, forklifts, tractor-trailers, pickup trucks, etc. * Perform operational on-call duties as required, and inspect equipment conditions to verify proper operation. * Assist in identifying required materials and spare parts for task execution, and support assembly, installation, and fitting of components on mobile equipment. * Assist in performing any assigned tasks and participate in machinery improvement projects. * Report information to the immediate Maintenance Supervisor regarding repairs and activities performed or assigned. * Support maintenance and repair services in other specialties. REQUIREMENTS: * Secondary education completed * Availability to rotate shifts * Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems in mobile equipment, forklifts, tractor-trailers, pickup trucks, etc. * Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles and valid driver’s license.
