Results-oriented approach and effective communication **JOB PROFILE: FIELD SUPERVISOR (HIGHWAY SECTION)** **Job Objective:** Supervise, coordinate, and ensure the proper execution of earthwork activities on highway sections, guaranteeing compliance with construction schedules, technical specifications, safety, and quality standards established for the project. **Job Requirements:** * Minimum of **10 years’ experience in earthworks** (mandatory in highway construction) * Education: Technical degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) * Solid knowledge of: * Earthmoving * Excavations, fills, and compaction * Leveling and layout * Heavy equipment operation and performance * Volume control and progress tracking * Basic interpretation of drawings and technical specifications * Willingness to work on-site **Main Responsibilities:** * Directly supervise earthwork activities on-site * Coordinate heavy equipment operators and construction personnel * Verify grading, layout, and compliance with specifications * Monitor equipment productivity and physical progress of work * Report daily progress to the Resident Engineer or Superintendent * Identify deviations and propose on-site solutions * Ensure compliance with safety regulations * Manage incidents involving personnel under supervision **Key Competencies:** * Operational leadership in the field * Decision-making under pressure * Organization and activity control * Effective communication with work teams * Results-oriented mindset **Working Conditions:** * On-site work (highway section) * Availability for extended working hours * Rotational work schedule (as per project requirements) **Added Value (Preferred):** * Experience in highway expansion or modernization projects * Knowledge of earthwork quality control * Experience working under SCT guidelines or similar regulations FOR MORE INFORMATION, CONTACT LIC.
