### **Operations Supervisor - Manzanillo** **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM / Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM **Work Model:** On-site **Req #:** 2051 **Employer:** TP Laser, S. de R.L. **About the Role** The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the proper execution of operational activities within the Customs area at the Manzanillo unit. This role requires supervising the Operations Coordinator, managing staff, ensuring compliance with foreign trade policies and regulations, and guaranteeing that operational processes—including shipments, reviews, and file closures—are completed timely and accurately. The position demands leadership, analytical capability, a results-oriented mindset, and a high level of customer service to ensure satisfaction among assigned accounts. **What the Candidate Will Do** * Provide customer service and support, ensuring effective follow-up on requests. * Supervise assigned personnel, evaluate their performance, and delegate tasks. * Verify compliance with internal policies, Foreign Trade Rules, and RRNA (Reglas de Registro y Revisión Aduanera). * Ensure timely file closure for billing purposes. * Coordinate accounts and shipments with work teams, guaranteeing timely and accurate cross-functional alignment. * Develop, analyze, and submit customer and departmental metrics. * Implement and monitor processes under ISO 9001:2015 standards. * Conduct customs-related procedures and formalities as required. **Basic Qualifications** * 1–2 years of experience leading teams (supervisory skills) * +3 years of experience in foreign trade operations (import/export cargo clearance) * Knowledge of customs law (compliance with regulations and non-tariff restrictions, customs entry regimes, and preparation of customs entries), foreign trade, and land transportation * Experience in reporting and metrics management * Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and OEA (Authorized Economic Operator) **Preferred Qualifications** * English proficiency * Knowledge of IMMEX, PROSEC, and Rule 8th (Octavas) * Basic knowledge of tariff classification * Proficiency in the Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera) **About TP Laser** Uber Freight Mexico Customs, powered by TP Laser as Uber Freight’s commercial partner in Mexico, delivers customized customs brokerage services between Mexico and the United States—backed by an unmatched combination of innovative technology and a dedicated team of foreign trade experts.
