Job Summary: Provide tariff classification advisory services to internal and external clients, defend classifications before authorities, and ensure regulatory compliance in foreign trade. Key Responsibilities: 1. Tariff classification advisory services and defense before authorities 2. Management of defense on platforms before authorities 3. Verification and assignment of tariff classification * Provide tariff classification advisory services and defense before authorities to internal and external clients regarding issued classifications. * Perform activities of the customs classifier, excluding customs incidents. * Review case files and pre-arrival documentation. * Manage defense on platforms before authorities. * Conduct pre-arrival inspections when required. * Inform operational staff about updates regarding tariff regulations and restrictions. * Assign tariff classification to foreign trade goods. * Verify assigned tariff classification against the pre-arrival report and photographs for imports. * Verify technical specifications, analysis certificates, product images, certificates of origin, or any other relevant documents for tariff classification assignment. * Comply with processes related to Physical Security, Information Security, and Supply Chain Security (Policies, Procedures, Manuals, Work Instructions, Forms, etc.).
