**HEAVY EQUIPMENT YARD DRIVER** **Location:** Altamira, Tamaulipas **Area:** Operations / Logistics **Reports to:** Yard Supervisor or Logistics Manager **Position Objective:** Safely and promptly transport materials, spare parts, documentation, and other supplies required for operations, supporting internal logistics within the heavy equipment yard. **Main Responsibilities:** * **Material Transport and Delivery:** * Transport materials, spare parts, and equipment to assigned locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. * **Internal Mobility:** * Perform internal yard transfers for distribution of supplies or components to respective areas. * **Document Delivery:** * Deliver and collect documents, invoices, contracts, correspondence, and other operational paperwork. * **Logistics Support:** * Assist the yard team with loading and unloading materials when necessary. * **Basic Vehicle Maintenance:** * Check oil, water, fuel levels, and overall condition of the assigned vehicle before each trip. * **Compliance with Safety Regulations:** * Operate the vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and internal safety policies. **Job Requirements:** * **Education:** Completed secondary school or high school. * **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year as a driver in logistics, construction, or transportation companies. * **License:** Valid Class C driver's license (or equivalent for light cargo). * **Knowledge:** * Safe operation of light cargo vehicles. * Basic knowledge of local routes in Altamira and industrial zones. * **Skills:** * Organization, responsibility, punctuality, teamwork. **Desirable Competencies:** * Service-oriented attitude. * Sense of urgency. * Adherence to industrial safety regulations.
