




Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and disinfection of hospital facilities to ensure the safety of patients and the public. Key Points: 1. Continuous training and participation in emergencies General Objective: Perform cleaning and disinfection of furniture and physical facilities in each hospital area using appropriate cleaning techniques and materials, with the aim of maintaining optimal hygiene and disinfection conditions that guarantee the safety of patients and the general public. Job Responsibilities: * Perform and maintain cleaning in assigned areas, complying with established processes and policies. * Use chemicals correctly, adhering to the supplier's instructions. * Record completed cleaning activities in the corresponding logs. * Use provided supplies responsibly and correctly. * Properly handle hospital waste (general waste and infectious biological waste). * Conduct shift handover/receipt, reviewing pending cleaning tasks. * Request cleaning materials and products at the start of each shift. * Transport soiled laundry to the laundry facility using personal protective equipment. * Maintain communication with maintenance staff for repair of accessories (desks, chairs, etc.) or services (water, electricity, etc.) and facilities. * Maintain communication with various departments to fulfill all required activities. * Support the laundry department as operationally required. * Attend training courses designated by the hospital. * Actively participate in emergency codes, Facility Safety System brigades, and scheduled drills. * Participate in Patient Safety training. * Perform all functions inherent to the scope of this position.
