If you're passionate about design, architecture, and shaping the future of global hospitality, we invite you to grow with us. **About the role** We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Real Estate Development Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team as a mid\-level or senior counsel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate law, with a focus on development and transactions. This role will provide legal counsel and support across all phases of real estate development projects, from acquisition and financing to construction and disposition. **Responsabilities** * Provide legal advice and counsel on all aspects of real estate development projects, including: * Land and property acquisition and due diligence * Entitlement and permitting * Construction and design agreements * Financing and joint ventures * Leasing and sales * Property management * Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including purchase agreements, development agreements, leases, construction contracts, and loan documents * Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with real estate development projects * Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant real estate laws and regulations * Collaborate with internal teams, including development, finance, and construction * Interface with external parties, including government agencies, lenders, investors, and consultants * Stay abreast of legal developments and industry best practices in real estate development **CV Requirements** * Law degree from a reputable university/law school * Admission to the bar in the country of residence. Dual\-qualified lawyers are especially encouraged to apply, especially if they are also qualified in a common law jurisdiction * 5\+ years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on development and transactions. Prior in\-house experience with luxury real estate developers is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of real estate development processes and regulations * Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills **Nice to have** * Good international law firm experience is a plus. This role requires a creative and technical professional who can deliver efficient and innovative engineering solutions while maintaining the aesthetic and functional standards expected in luxury developments. In this role, you will be responsible for design development of luxury villas and boutique hotels engineering systems. You should be able to work independently throughout the day, coordinate with the team when needed, and deliver intermediate results weekly. You will report to a MEP design manager, but collaborate with the entire design team, including but not limited to architects, interior designers, structural engineers, the FF\&E procurement team, and client representatives. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication and presentation skills, be punctual, detail\-oriented, self\-organized, and motivated to deliver quality results. The ideal candidate will have: * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil or Building Engineering with a concentration in electrical systems, power supply and generation * Between 5 to 10 years of engineering design experience working for a design consultancy or a general contractor * Experience in high\-end hospitality projects, like 5\-star hotels and private villas Responsibilities * Design engineering systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels, ensuring compliance with local building codes and industry standards * Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and other engineers to integrate systems seamlessly into the overall project * Proactively participate in spatial coordination with architectural and structural model, research efficient methodologies, equipment, systems to secure the initial design intent and high\-end user experience * Timely resolve technical issues and challenges during the design phase * Lead the development of detailed drawings, technical documentation, and system specifications using CAD and BIM tools, with the support of BIM modellers * Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing to optimize performance and energy efficiency * Oversee equipment selection, ensuring it aligns with project requirements and sustainability goals * Provide input during value engineering discussions to achieve the best balance between cost, quality, and performance * Supervise the design development, review and approve deliverables of third party designers, consultants, surveyors * Stay updated on the latest technologies, trends, and regulations related to power supply and distribution systems in the luxury and hospitality sectors CV Requirements * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil or Building Engineering with a concentration in electrical systems, power supply and generation * 8 to 15 years of experience in design consultancy or general contractor * Experience working on low\-rise residential and hospitality projects \- private homes and villas, hotels and resorts * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD * Professional level of English, both written and verbal * Good to have: * Spanish * Caribbean experience Notice: This is a remote position based in Mexico.
